Spanish soprano Pilar Alva-Martín began her musical education as a violinist, later deciding to pursue a vocal career and moving to Switzerland to begin her studies at the Haute École de Musique of Lausanne with Stephan MacLeod. She obtained her Master de Soliste in June 2023 with a special mention from the jury.

Among her engagements for the 2026-2027 season, highlights include her debut at Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional de Música with the Ensemble Il Fervore. She will perform in the cast of the production Andrómeda y Perseo, presented at the Teatro de la Comedia and. the Fundación Juan March (Madrid). She will sing soprano solo in Mozart´s Requiem with the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada at Granada Cathedral. Pilar will also perform Bach’s St John Passion with the Orquesta de Córdoba and give a recital with pianist Rubén Fernández Aguirre as part of the Lied Arriagan season at the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao.
