Pilar performed the roles of Mergellina and Merlina in L’Uccellatrice and La Fantesca, two intermezzi by Giuseppe Ponzo.
A sold-out night of comedy, highlighting the power of women as protagonists and a clear role-reversal dynamic.
Both intermezzi date back to the 18th century, and the Camerata Antonio Soler has carried out an extensive historical recovery of these works, which had not been performed since Ponzo’s time.
